Scheduling a Home Visit
Home visits are scheduled on a regular monthly basis through our office. Patients are normally called 24 to 48 hours prior to arrange a visit. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a specific time for the visit due to travel time and the needs of each patient seen that day. Follow-up visits are scheduled based upon your specific needs.
If the patient becomes ill and is in need for a home visit, we will do our best to fit you into the schedule within 48 hours of your call. Primary HomeCare is not an emergency service. If you feel that your situation is urgent, or you cannot wait for a visit, please call 911.
Primary HomeCare provides 24-hour telephone on-call coverage 7 days a week. If you have caller ID with call rejection on your phone, you will have to disable it by dialing *87. After your call back, turn the service back on by dialing *77.
We are unable to provide prescription refills after hours or on weekends. If you need a prescription refilled, please call our office during regular business hours from 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. Primary HomeCare offices are closed on weekends and the on-call provider does not have access to your medical records.
We ask that you take your medications as prescribed and keep us informed about emergency room visits, hospitalizations and changes in your insurance or your address.
We understand the many struggles and challenges you have to overcome on a daily basis. This is why we are so dedicated to providing you with the support you need to deal with these problems head on. With our services, you no longer have to stress out about the small things in life or even how you are going to maintain your health, because when you receive care from Primary HomeCare, you can rest easy knowing you are in good hands.
